Hyperlinks in Word

Hyperlinks in Word follow the same rules as in any webpage or publication. The text on the page should be meaningful and give the user a good idea about where it will take them. This is because most screen readers have a function that will bring up a list of links for the user to scroll through and select. Links like Click here or Read more are just not helpful.
